Authentic Asian Cuisine
From its origin World Foods was approached by major retailers to develop a range of
ethnic Halal and Asian frozen food products in 2008. Within two months over 20 products
under the Aisha brand had been created and launched into the stores.
Other brands were quickly launched including Everest Indian ice cream and kulfi, Maysum
quality snack foods such as samosas and spring rolls, Easy Chef quality doner kebab and
chicken tikka in pitta bread for the convenience market and the Cofresh range of pure
Vegetarian finger foods and Frozen Garlic and Ginger.
Today many of our products are found in all of the major multiples and are also widely
available in most Asian retail grocery stores, cash and carry’s and wholesalers
throughout the UK.
World Foods and subsidiary Cofresh, supply directly to over 70% of the UK’s large Asian
grocery sector using their own fleet of vehicles and also export products to Australia,
India and Europe. Some of our major customers include ASDA (Walmart), J.Sainsbury,
Morrisons, Nisa, Today’s Group, Tesco, Co-op and Waitrose here in the UK.
World Foods has introduced 60 very successful frozen products into the multiples and
independent retail sectors and our philosophy is that all our food must be natural,
authentic and free from unnecessary additives. Quality ingredients are of vital importance
and most important of all is that our Halal abattoirs are carefully checked and audited for
their Halal accreditation.
