Launched just last year World Foods is already making a huge impact in the ethnic food
market.
From its origin, World Foods was approached by major retailers to develop a range of
ethnic Halal and Asian food products in 2008. Within two months over 20 products under
the Aisha brand had been created and launched into the stores.
Further brands have been successfully launched such as Everest Indian ice cream and
kulfi, Maysum offering quality snack foods such as samosas and spring rolls, and Easy
Chef supplying quality donner kebab and chicken tikka in pitta bread for the convenience
market.
Today many of the products are found in all of the major multiples and are also widely
available in most Asian retail grocery stores, cash and carry’s and wholesalers
throughout the UK.
